The moulding screw is used indoors for fixing moulding and skirting to underlying wood material. The small screw head has nibs on its underside for easy countersinking and a cutpoint to counteract splitting of the woodwork. The screw can also be fixed to a steel base with a maximum thickness of 0.6 mm.
